Luke Eason
LOUISIANA PINE SNAKE SPECIALIST

Luke grew up in Waco, Texas, and graduated from Eagle Christian Academy in 2020. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from Texas A&M University in 2024. During his studies, Luke gained valuable field experience through an internship at Bamberger Ranch, where he further developed his interest in conservation-focused wildlife management. Luke joined the Ellen Trout Zoo team in June of 2024 as the Louisiana Pine Snake Specialist, bringing a strong academic background and a passion for species conservation to this critical role.

Who Inspired You?: My dad to love God and Steve Irwin to love animals.
