Stormy perry

VETERINARY DEPARTMENT
Stormy grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from the Oklahoma School of Science & Math in 2014. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University in 2018, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Her internships took her across the country—working in Michigan, Indiana, and beyond—where she treated a wide range of domestic and exotic species. Stormy joined the Ellen Trout Zoo staff as lead veterinarian in August 2024.
Favorite Animals: Canids (wolves, African wild dogs, coyotes, etc.)
Favorite Holiday: Christmas

Little Known Fact: My first job was a lifeguard at a waterpark!
Favorite Memory: Working with my favorite animal (wolves) for 2 whole summer internships.
Who Inspired You?: My family has always been supportive of my dreams, especially my mom.
Toughest Challenge: As a vet, learning medicine for all the different species. Challenging but one of the best parts of the job! Never a boring day.
