Jack was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas and graduated from Central High School in 2013. He joined the zoo's Maintenance Department in December of 2021 and has proven to be an invaluable addition to the team. His carpentry and plumbing skills have helped enhance the zoo for everyone.

Favorite Animals: Ones with unique personalities.

Favorite Holiday: Christmas

Little Known Fact: I love to sing.

Who Inspired You?: A little bit from a lot of people has helped to shape me into the person I am today. 

Favorite Memory: A two week hiking trip on the Colorado Mountain Trail.

Favorite Color: Shades of orange and green.

Best Advice for Those Wanting to Join the Zoo Field: 
Maintenance work doesn't require a degree, but knowledge in various trades like carpentry and plumbing as well as hard work.
