Sabrina was born and raised in Dover, Delaware. She graduated from Dover High School in 2014 and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in zoo science from Delaware Valley University in 2018. Her path in animal care included internships at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and Tigers for Tomorrow in Attalla, Alabama. Sabrina joined the Ellen Trout Zoo team in 2024 as the swing keeper for the Asia/Primates section and now serves as a swing keeper in the Mammals North section.

Favorite Color: Royal blue
Who Inspired You?: My parents. Without them I'd be living in a ditch. I'm grateful for the opportunities they gave me.
Toughest Challenge: Had an abusive boss who told me I didn't know how to do my job or that what I was taught was wrong. I didn't leave the field, I got a new job was completely validated.
Favorite Memory: When Saffron, the female clouded leopard, came up to me at the fence chuffing for the first time.

Best Advice for Those Wanting to Join the Zoo Field: Get an early start by volunteering and interning and when you can accept any job just to get paid experience.
